Sunday Morning Fellowship Hour: Immediately after worship for connecting while you share in a great cup of Ozo coffee!
We gather as God’s people to celebrate God’s unconditional love and forgiveness in Jesus Christ for all people. Worship is central to our life together. You can also expect to be greeted by our community before or after worship—we place a high value in relationships and helping others belong among us, too. Each person brings gifts to our community life together.
You’ll find us wearing suits and ties as well as jeans and t-shirts. We invite you to come in what is comfortable to you—the Boulder way! What is important to us is that we offer a place for you to experience God’s boundless love, and to offer an invitation to walk alongside us as followers of Jesus Christ.
Worship at Atonement follows the historic four-part order of worship: Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending. In a sense, it is traditional, because we have strong worship traditions at Atonement, but we think you’ll find it full of energy, meaningful, spiritual and reverent, instead of stuffy or irrelevant.
Within worship, you’ll find a variety of music styles accompanied by piano, organ and the occasional guitar or instrumental accompaniment—all intended to direct us in praise and thanksgiving. We work hard to create a worship environment that is rich, sacred, and intentional to connect you with God and others. We take seriously the task of preaching the forgiveness and love of God, and welcome all to the Holy Communion table each Sunday. You’ll find people of all ages in our worship, and in our worship leadership.
