We believe that God’s radically inclusive love excludes no one.

Our Welcome Statement

We believe that God’s radically inclusive love excludes no one. We welcome you wherever you are on your spiritual journey, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity (LGBTQIA+), religious background, marital status, political affiliation, economic status, housing status, immigration status, or personal ability.

Our vision is to be a welcoming and inclusive Christian community, fostering connection to God, one another, and the world.

We hope you see yourself in these statements! ALL are welcome.

How do we live out our commitment to radically welcome all people who seek connection to God?

We think you’ll find us to be warm and friendly when you join us for worship or for our Wednesday evening faith formation. Our church council takes welcome seriously and has recently authorized the creation of two new task forces: the Antiracism Task Force and the Reconciling in Christ (RIC): LGBTQIA+ Welcome Task Force. Together, they express Atonement’s commitment to people in minority positions in US society, particularly those who are harmed by racism and discrimination toward people who identify as LGBTQIA+. Both task forces will begin work in 2025, helping to guide the congregation in its quest for a more just and equitable future for all people.

See more about the Reconciling in Christ program HERE.

Our antiracism work is less structured, but we strive to educate ourselves and to help dismantle racism in our community, our country, and our world.
